SAMCRO Special @ Harley City

samcroSons of Anarchy has been a show which has had world wide impact on the Motorcycle industry. It's captivated and influenced many and at Harley City we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to create and individualise a 2011 FXDB by giving it a real SAMCRO Feel.

First of all we had to get the fairing organised, something that looked sleek and still gave it the feel of a bike you could ride around the countryside. Luckily enough Arlen Ness has got this covered as not many other manufacturers ( including Harley themselves ) offer a fairing for the bigger 49mm forks which are now standard on all Dyna models.

Handlebars and Risers as well as the top clamp were all changed. The Street Bob has a fixed top triple clamp and the risers are all part of it which means to put those comfortable 8 inch risers and drag bar setup on this bike we had to purchase the top clamp of a FXDC.

Once we got everything on everyone was surprised just how comfortable the setup felt; of course this is all thanks to the good riding position on the FXDB with the addition of the 'old school' FXD35 style seat it complemented our fairing and bar set up perfectly. We had the option of selecting a Brawler solo seat but the message we wanted to purvey was that this bike is meant to be ridden.

seatExhaust wise we knew the boys at SAMCRO like their blacked out systems but where some of them go for the 2 into 1 we opted to go a set of Rush Mufflers, black of course. The Rush products have been really good for us, giving the consumer everything we could ask for in a muffler. Performance, aesthetics and the option of a removable baffle. On top of that we removed the Heatshields and went with the Screamin' Eagle Exhaust Wrap.

We were really happy with the finished project, we felt we captured the essence of the motorcycles from the Sons of Anarchy but yet managed to put some individual elements onto to make it more of a unique unit and not just a copy. The SAMCRO Special is for Sale at Harley City
